Panel speaker: Peter Gostomski

Peter is a Professor of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Canterbury and has held various leadership roles at the University over the last 27 years. His teaching responsibilities have cut across many areas of chemical engineering with a particular focus on process safety. His research interests are in bioprocess engineering, looking at both the production of biochemical products and environmental biotreatment technologies. Current active projects include biofiltration, denitrification and microbial fuel cells. He is a Fellow of both IChemE and Engineering NZ.
